How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

I love listening to morning talk shows on my way to work/school/the gym/etc and still miss my favorite morning talk show call-in game, (Guess the name of the) Dead Guy in the Envelope, complete with intro song to the tune of The Flinstones from a few years ago and from a radio station that sadly went off the air a few years ago…but there’s always new shows and call-in games to discover!

Our radio in the house stopped working (as did 2 dvd players & a portable dvd player so I can’t even listen to CDs) but if I had one I would have it on: during a.m. Clean up, when I’m cooking so kids and I can sing and dance, and during before bed cleaning up.
right now, I’m restricted to the car & generally listen to country while hubby listens to talk if he gets to pick (blah blah blah). :)

Radio Me! I use my car radio to sing along as loud as I can..since I don’t want anyone to hear, and I use my home radio to listen to while cleaning the house. It makes it a lot more fun!

Holy cannoli, we’d love this. We have a little clock radio in our bathroom that we use for NPR, but we’d love a cute one for the living room. That way, we could get our liberal nerd on all over the house! :)
