How excited are we to be giving away a Model One Radio this week? You probably know that our cheery yellow one is one of our favorite things that we’ve bought for our new kitchen (more on that here). Sure it’s been dubbed “the best sounding table radio ever made” by some (MSNBC in this case), but our love for it stems first and foremost from its looks. It’s one good looking radio. But that’s not to say that we don’t crank up the radio (or an iPod playlist thanks to the auxiliary input in the back) and enjoy a family dance party every now and then…

(pretty please!)love, love the radio in my kitchen – it’s on most of the day, cheerfully brings me my news and all kinds of great music while we’re in the middle of everything we do downstairs… there’s another one on my dresser upstairs, but that kelly green beauty would be right at home on my kitchen shelf! love!

RADIO ME! I don’t really listen to the radio anymore except at Christmas time. I listen to Christmas music on the radio for pretty much all of November and December. I can’t get enough. I mostly listen to my ipod but I would love to win this radio for my son. I think he would love it.

On days when the weather is bad and I’m desperate to distract the kids from the TV, I turn the radio on FULL BLAST and host a dance party. When I’m in particularly good form, I can talk them into doing chores while they dance, too!
