Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

Royal Design Giveaway

  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! Totally obsessed with the royal wedding! Set the alarm so we (yes I talked my husband into getting up too) could get up 2 hours before the wedding and watch all the pre-wedding festivities live. No worries though, we were already off work for our anniversary-vacation, so we went back to bed around 10am and took a nice long mid morning nap!

I definitely got up to watch the pre-wedding coverage, the wedding, and everything afterwards too! I have to stop talking about it because I think my husband is definitely sick and tired of all the royal chatter!

It was nice to see the wedding but I didn’t think it was that crazy to get so caught up in it.

My friend DVR’d it and we met up at her place to watch it at 8am…a little more manageable. She served tea, scones, and a traditional english breakfast. It was glorious and so fun!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! I wasn’t too concerned about the royal wedding. I watched a recap that evening to see the highlights, but that was about it.

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! Totally got caught up in it and feel there’s something in watching it live…”real time” if you will. I have to be up for work at 5:30 everyday anyway so putting it on in the background while getting ready worked perfectly.

I wasn’t planning on watching the wedding. But, I ended up watching some highlights (the vows, and the walk to the altar). I’m embarrassed to say I teared up a little.

I recorded the royal wedding and watched it the next day. Loved every minute! I also spent a couple days ahead of time reading the history behind all the royal tiaras and speculated on which she would wear (I guessed wrong).

I got up that morning with my son (3 months old) made a cup of tea and we watched the wedding together. I taught him all about the Royal family and that he should be proud to come from a family full of brits!

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!
I am sooo upset to see how instantaneously (wait…is that the right word) popular lace sleeves have become on wedding dresses. When I planned my wedding I always looked at pictures of dresses w/lace sleeves but at the time, I could find nothing in the bridal salons and if I saw it in a magazine it was not in my price range so I was not able to get a dress with them. I am shamefully envious of anyone who will have lace sleeves on their wedding dress!

I totes want the royal treatment. And, funny story. I ended up watching the royal wedding from the geographic center of the earth – Accra, Ghana. I was en route back to the U.S. from Liberia and a 13 hour delay allowed me the pleasure of watching Will and Kate become Duke and Dutchess from the Accra Ghana airport. Thank you, Delta!!

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

And… I was not caught up enough in the royal wedding to go out of my way to watch it, but I did my fair share of checking up on the details later that day!

One a related side note, last year we photographed a bride and groom named “Catherine and Will.” We were recently contacted by the “Newlywed Game” (because of the B&G’s names) and our bride and groom ended up being on the newlywed game the week of the royal wedding (they had a royal wedding theme all week). Pretty random and awesome! :)
