Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

“I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” I got to see a little bit of it after getting up for a late night (or early morning?) feeding for our 3 month old. I loved seeing all the hats!

I have to say I didn’t even realize when the royal wedding was. My mother in law said she was watching it at 7am on a Friday and I was awfully confused! I did see just a short clip of her frist arriving, though!

ok, so I did watch the wedding. At crazy 5 in the morning. But in my defence, I moved from London 3 days before the wedding! My flat was only 10 minutes away from westminster. Bad timing to move, but worth getting up to watch!

The thought of the cash-strapped British “commoners” footing any portion of the hefty bill for an already woefully wealthy couple to tie the knot is a bit nauseating. So I avoided the royal wedding like the plague. Until the day of the wedding. I’ve been loving love lately and I couldn’t help but get lured in my the romance of it all. Eh, not my tax dollars.

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I was partying the night before the wedding. So I wasn’t able to watch the first hours. But when I woke up, the VIPs entered the church – perfect timing! I’m totally in to royal weddings. The dresses, the hats, the princesses… it’s like all my dreams of me teenage years have come true =)

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! I knew the wedding was coming up, but I didn’t know it had already taken place until I got to work that Friday. I listened to everyone else at work who had watched it. I was a little sad to have missed it, but I caught up by watching a replay on some obscure cable channel that night. Really good stuff! That Westminster Abbey is impressive.

I had good intentions of getting up early and watching the Royal Wedding. I LOVE weddings, so this is like the epitome of all weddings…
Sadly, I had so much work to do last week and the week before that sleep was more important. I still have yet to see it! I’ve only see photos and the fashion report, but I am definitely excited to see the actual ceremony at some point soon. :)

I knew they were getting married – but didn’t realize when it was until the night before. We don’t have tv so I just checked out the dress after it was over. I also saw an article where a lip reader watched everyone and made a transcript of what they were saying. It was so cute :)

I want the royal treatment. I work from home while baby Alice sleeps, so I get a pretty early start on the day—like 4am early, so the wedding was happening while I began my day. I tried to watch it. I like big important, or quasi-important, at least historical kinds of things, but I didn’t make it very far before I zoned out on it all. I tried!

I wasn’t really too caught up in the whole thing…I actually felt a little sorry for the happy couple. What pressure to make sure the right dress is picked and they act exactly like everyone things they should. But, that being said, I was happy for them and thought it was one bit of brightness in our news today!
