I watched it with my girlfriends it was on live in Australia around 7pm on the Friday night, so perfect time for drinks. We drank champagne and ate homemade Indian Curry Pies (how very corner take out shop British of us.)
And it was beautiful of course.
PS Stencil freebie couldn’t come at a better time, my new house is being built and I want to stencil the feature room in the master bedroom. Woot woot.

I may be the only person who didn’t watch the wedding or even see any highlights of it. I only saw the balcony wave and kiss. Sleep was more of a priority with two little ones.

My 4 year old daughter stayed up and watched with me, it was on at 7pm in Australia. We were mesmerised by the fairytale feel of the dresses and horse drawn carriages. Needless to say we’ve been playing a lot of princess dress ups lately!

I slept in the second bedroom so I could quietly get out of bed at 4am to watch all the coverage! I loved every second of it and I’m so glad I got up to see it live. Just to let you know how obsessed I am, I have Princess Diana and Prince Charles paper dolls (never been used; gotta keep stuff like that nice!) and I can’t wait for the Will and Kate version to come out!

and yes :$ i was completely caught up in the royal wedding mania – though i pretended i wasn’t till the night before. i camped out in my living room, planning to wake up at 4 am to catch the wedding, but was woken up at 6 am, by my father who laughed at my foolishness. thank god i didn’t miss kate walk into the abbey! her dress was gorgeous, the first kiss sucked and beatrice’s hat was a little too ridiculous.

Haha – Yes of course we were wrapped up in the Royal Wedding Festivities… a la DVR
“WE” meaning myself and my 3 year old daughter, Brae (our 6 month old daughter was all in as well!) We donned homemade flower “fascinators” (or bonnets)- drank tea, munched on scones- chocolate chip of course- and took pictures of Brae in front of the bride and groom (Oh yea and the “evil step-sisters” Beatrice and Eugenie aka Anastasia and Drizella!) I WISH I could share pictures here but don’t know how!
Brae had a blast picking out dresses for herself and her sister….
Now it’s their turn to get the ROYAL TREATMENT – I would love to decorate a few items in stencils including a playroom wall for the girls!!
