Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

Royal Design Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $100 gift card to Royal Design Studio
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … fess up, were you totally caught up in Royal Wedding mania? Did you get up early to watch the festivities? Have you been chatting about the dress, kisses, and hats ever since? Or were you on the other end of the spectrum and worked hard to avoid the hubbub?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I actually was doing a half marathon the next day so I had to get enough sleep to travel up to it on that Friday. So when I woke up GMA showed like a 20 min recap of all the best parts…best way to watch it! I did keep up with photos that people posted on twitter about it. But otherwise I’m not bothered. :p

    I want the royal treatment!

My Nanny was a war-bride from England (WWII) so Royal watching and gossiping and speculating has been an intimate part of my upbringing. (She’s got commemorative everything displayed everywhere.)I wouldn’t have missed Wills’ and Kate’s big day (Live at 2am here) for the world!

I was not really excited or very interested in the whole Royal Wedding thing…when I woke up I did get online to check out her dress and see the wedding synopsis in 60 seconds, but other than that it really hasn’t been of great interest to me. BTW her dress was Gorgeous!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! I did get up (at 6, not 4) to watch the wedding. I was very excited to see Kate’s dress as I am getting married in a year and was eagerly anticipating the fashion trend Kate was about to set!

I’m in Britain, and I wasn’t even up until after the ceremony – taking full advantage of a bank holiday lie-in thank you very much! We did have a street party though, the biggest in our city apparently.

I didn’t get up early to watch it or anything, but I watched a lot of the replays during the day. Her dress looked a lot like mine with the elegant sleeves and I was totally obsessed with it!

BTW—Where can I buy that ADORABLE blue lamp in the first picture!!?? That would SO CUTE in our bedroom!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! I didn’t intend to get caught up in the royal wedding, but I just couldn’t help myself. I got up at the crack of dawn on my day off and watched it live and then continued to watch all the coverage of it the rest of the day. I loved it!

I totally set my DVR, yet it apparently missed the actual ceremony, sadly. I’m hoping to check it out on YouTube soon, but LOVED the dress, the hats and the whole hullabaloo! Who wouldn’t love to become a real-life princess?! They are an adorable couple!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT (and I am so excited about our new house I can barely sleep!)

We are closing on our first house 2 weeks from today (!) and I have all sorts of plans leading up to the move, including, but not limited to, paining the basement (because at one point wood paneling was considered fashionable?) and two of the bedrooms the afternoon that we close. Movers coming the next day. Can’t wait!

And yes, on an unrelated, yet slightly related sidenote since you did ask about the Royal Wedding Fever, Yes, I did catch it. One of my twins woke up at 5:30 am and then woke his sister up and then my 5 year old. So there we all were: awake at 5:30 am on Friday, April 29. I was tired. And slighly annoyed. When my 5 year old went to put on the TV to watch SpongeBob, CNN was showing the lead up to the Royal Wedding! I watched the whole thing and was so surprised that I was so wrapped up in it and that I spent the day at work checking in on all the updated pic’s of everyone and their hats. And wishing we wore hats at weddings here, but that is another story.

So yes, with the new house and having recovered from Royal Wedding Fever, I do want the Royal Treatment!

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! I didn’t stay up, but I did look through all of the pictures on People.com and discuss Kate’s dress’s affect on the coming fashion trends with my sister. Sure by some accounts, it definitely was a waste of time, but it was nice to have some happy news amid all of the horrible things going on the world!

    “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!”

I was totally caught up in it all! I love, love love the royal family and ofc like any girl, love a wedding!!

It was kinda weird watching it all on TV tho, as when Sophie Rhys Jones & Prince Edward got married in 1999, I was actually there!! I lived in Windsor at the time & as the wedding was being held in windsor castle the queen invited a certain number of residents from Windsor to the wedding and I was so honoured to actually be one! I still have my wedding invite and order of service which I really must get framed and displayed instead of being shoved aweay in the loft!

Yes I was definitely caught up in the wedding. And was loving that my 2 year old daughter was also mesmerized by the “prince”, “bride”, “horsies” and “nutcrackers” (soldiers). It was the sweetest thing – she has been asking to watch the “prince and bride” on tv ever since the wedding.
