Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY

    It’s hard to pick just one thing. There is a sleeveless top that I wore at least once a week, for the entire summer. Or the lamp that I’ve had for years, that I love so much and can’t quite explain why. Most recently my favorite purchase is a snowman Christmas ornament that I just bought on Saturday. I cannot wait to have a tree set up to hang it on.

    If I had to choose my FAVORITE, I would say my gorgeous white ruffly shower curtain that sells at Anthropologie for nearly $100. At Target? $19.99. SCORE.

    My favorite score from target is… everything! I love that store and almost everything in it! But I have found especially cute and cheap cardigans, scarves, gift wrap, furniture… etc!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! So many things to choose from, but one of my favorites is the fabric wall hangings we have in our guest bedroom. We use them above the bed as a sort of make-shift headboard and they look great!

    Best buy were a pair of brown boots that somehow last from winter to winter despite all the salt, snow and sleet they’re subjected to. And they look great with jeans!

    My favorite item I scored from Target…whew, hard to pick one! Probably the espresso bookcases and TV stand that made our living room look so put together and C&B-esque.

    I’m a Target Lady and recently bought a ton of clear storage bins – they keep my seasonal clothes and decoration stacked neatly and items are now easy to find!

    I’m a target lady! Out of all the things that I have purchased from Target, I think my favorite has to be my dog’s “princess riding a unicorn” halloween costume I bought on clearance this year. She is the sweetest dog and has been since the day we rescued her….she licks treats out of your hand instead of using her teeth.     I’m a Target lady. First of all, it’s a MN based company and I’m in MPLS. I love the charity work they do. I love their ad campaigns. I also love the fact that (I believe this is still true) a very small number of people control all the ad/marketing stuff that happens at Target.

    I have a green tote bag from Target that I love. It’s the perfect size for hauling books around campus, but it’s also dressy enough to wear for a night out.

    I looooooove Target! I have too many favorite things I’ve gotten from there, but lately it’s the accent chair that I got for my living room. It’s the Polly Slipper chair in aegean, and it sold out just after I placed my order! Whew!!

    BONUS QUESTION: I love that I managed to get 90% of my Christmas shopping there last year, it was the perfect place to register for everything for the home when I got married and their maternity clothes rock!
    My current favorites are the fabric boxes I got to hold my sweaters on the closet shelf. So much better than huge awkward boxes under the bed or on the shelf.
