I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

If you look at my closet, you’ll know that I’m absolutely in love with Target’s clearance rack. I’m always dragging my (usually good humored) husband over so that I can pick up cute stuff for 75% off. Shirts, dresses, pants… I’m almost always finding something cute and super cheap (usually $2.50-$5).
I also once scored a really cute serving bowl there that was originally $20 and marked down to $2 (it was technically a Christmas item, but it’s just white and black and nothing really Christmasy about it).

What don’t I love that I got from Target. One of my favorites is a green glass lamp that I think ya’ll mentioned in one of your stalking posts. It has a floral patter on the inside of the shade that shines through when the lamp is one. It makes me smile when its on and I’m reading a book in bed.

The day after Haloween I bought the cutest costume for my unborn child who will be around 6-7 months at next year’s Haloween. The best part of the purchase, was that the monkey suit (with cute tail and all) was only $2.50! Can’t beat that!

My favorite purchase was our eat in kitchen dining set. I bought it when I was single and in an apartment. I wanted a drop leaf table I could push up against a wall and only pull out and open up if needed. I figured I’d get something that I could use later on when I had a bigger place, and sure enough I did. It fits perfectly in our eat in kitchen.

I love all my Target furniture. We have 3 bookcases, a tv stand, my desk, desk chair, and 2 living room chairs. I think I like the living room chairs (Avington Slipper chair in “Vine”) the most.

I can’t talk about just one thing that I’ve gotten there that I love because there are so many. My husband and I are both college undergrads (plus newly-weds), so we’re not exactly rakin in the dough. Target has helped us furnish our tiny apartment with loads of style and function without breaking the bank. It was also one of two places that registered for wedding gifts.
