Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m really loving our comforter that we picked up a couple months but my favorite favorite is the bed set we picked up for my 9 year old sister in law when her parents were separating. She told us it made her new room feel like home

    I just scored two lamps for $7.00 a piece which finally finished my living room off! BEST DEAL EVER!

    If there someone who loves Target that would be me. I may need counsuling becuase im there a couple times a week! Now that my Target has groceries i will be there even more!

    I think my favorite or maybe most memorable item from Target would have to an item that my Husband registered for our wedding. He was probably like most men, registering for TV’s, grills, you know all the man essentials! I, of course gave him a hard time and said we shouldn’t register for that kind of stuff because no one would buy us such big ticket items. Well, I was wrong! One of our showers we got a bright and shiny new grill!! Love Target!

    So hard to pick my best Target buy! I love my Thomas O’Brien towels – not the best bargain, but they stay so nice after lots of washes!

    My favorite purchases at target were a colorful shower curtain, bright colored towels, and other bath accessories. They were super cheap and stylish, which enabled me to decorate the bathroom of my first apartment on a budget!

    I’m a Target Lady!

    I consider shopping the clearance shelves at Target to be a sport. Almost all my holiday decorations were purchased after-the-fact, on clearance and in style. My last was a straw pumpkin that I bought a few weeks ago, $7! That same trip sent me home with a $3 red cake platter and $2.50 mini-calendar for our fridge.

    I couldn’t pick just one product that is my favorite from Target, so I pick every clearance item I’ve ever come home with!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I just got a body pillow case covered in a vintage bicycle print. I’m cutting out each bike and sewing them onto kids’ shirts. Target is full of inspiration.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!! This is super tiny, but I love Target’s card section. I come from a family of card people, so it’s kind of a big deal for me.

    Also – they are almost done building a Target a few blocks from my house!! No more truckin’ it across the city for me. Yay!

    What don’t I love that I got from Target? One of my favorites is a magazine holder that looks like it was menswear inspired (wool covering with leather detailing and a buckle). Functional and cute!

    I’m A Target Lady – one year I was looking for the perfect little bird ornament for my tree. I found a PEACOCK that was absolutely perfect! Target is wonderful for all of your everyday needs and also those perfect little things you also must have!

    I really don’t think I can pick just one thing. From the green silk quilt on our bed to the fabulous fully-lined retro inspired dresses I’ve scored there, I just don’t know what I’d do without my Target nearby.
