Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    Happy Birthday, and I am a Target Lady!!

    My favorite thing ever from Target was a Christmas present from my husband. One year I saw this red and white knit blanket with reindeer, and I flipped out. It looked exactly like this tiny sweater we have that my grandmother knitted for my dad, and my siblings and I also wore it when we were little. The next year they had one with snowflakes, and my sweet husband got me that one too! Love my blankets :)

    I’M A TARGET LADY!! My current favorite item from Target is a $12 maternity dress (yay clearance!) that I wear allll the time. I’m actually headed over to Target on my lunch break to pick up a few things… Love target!!

    What I’m really loving right now is the Hello Kitty notepads, coloring books, and reusable bags that I got from the $1 spot! A nice little post-Halloween gift for my goddaughter, and cheery pads for my classroom and our house!

    My favorite things I’ve scored at target? Um, I got all my college gear there, lot’s of xmas decorations there. We get my husbands no-smoking patches there (the target brand doesn’t itch as much AND is cheaper). We had our wedding registry there.

    I actually think I’m going to say our mica lamps. Their torchiers and look like the dome part is mica and they let out a soft glow of light without being blinding. I actually was looking on their website today because I want more, but I don’t think they still carry them. *sadface!*

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    I am wearing my all-time favorite Target find right now! It is a navy and white striped boyfriend cardigan with a shawl collar. And it’s light enough that I can layer it in the colder months, but it still gets a lot of use during warmer months during cool evenings. And I think I only paid $3 for it! Yay!

    I have this fabulous purple patterned coat and a sheath dress that look stunning – it’s my favorite thing to see people’s expressions when I tell them of the Target origin after they compliment my outfit :)

    My favorite item from Tar-jay would have to be our 2-tier console table. We bought it in natural maple finish and stained it with a darker shade to match the rest of our living room furniture. It’s functional and very affordable.

    Best target item–small versatile cupboard and drawer cubes that we have combined to make nightstands, side tables, an entertainment center, and now a printer stand.

    My very favorite item purchased from target…would have to be their organic cotton sheets – they are soooo soft and comfy – we’ve got 2 sets. They are the best!

    I think I love everything I’ve ever bought at Target, but my most recent favorite is a pair of tall brown boots I bought a few weeks ago. I get complimented every time I wear them and they were $30!

    Totally a true statement. What haven’t I loved from Target? They offer so many things that mimic the uber expensive stylish stuff, at such a reasonable price! Like dishware, organizers, baskets, and throw pillows! I can never get out of there without snagging something for our home, so this would be just fab!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!!! Honestly, everything in our home is from Target it seems. I would say my favorite things I own from Target are a card table and chair set we picked up not long ago. It’s awesome for game night.

    The best thing from Target? I don’t know, I buy everything there. I love my Target jersey sheets. I’ve been really enjoying my multiple pairs of Target basketball shorts lately. Pretty much all the underwear I own comes from Target. Halloween candy – Target of course. The list goes on…

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My favorite bargain that I found was a maternity bathing suit for $4 just in time for summer when I was 7 months pregnant. I got so many compliments on that thing.

    My favorite decor related find was a wooden birdcage which we used at our wedding for our card holder on the gift table. It was only $20 and I addeds some flowers on top to match our wedding colors.
