Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY. Hands down. It’s hard to pick a favorite Target item since it supplies more than half of my wardrobe and even more of my home, but my green and white trenchcoat never fails to get compliments and is really flattering–I love wearing it.

    In college, I once spent 3 hours in the toy department with a friend (we were “killing time”) and ended up buying light sabers and silly string when all was said and done.

    Wow, choosing one thing is hard. Just remembering all the things that might have come from Target is hard! My fairly recent purchase of a dark red leather storage ottoman is one favorite!

    I’m a target lady! I buy most everything there! I found my bedroom sheets there on clearance for $15 ans they are so soft and the colors and style is perfect!

    I’m a Target Lady!
    I get so many good things from Target but perhaps my most used was a khaki colored tote I got for $6. It is the perfect work bag and I’ve used it so much that the inside is so dirty and the handles have frayed. I decided it was time for a new bag but I can’t part with this one yet so it’s just sitting around my house in “retirement” mode.

    I live in the great white north (with no targets!!), however we’re about 2 hrs from the closest one. Whenever we decide to go I’m busy scouring the website for all the latest and greatest. Love that store!

    Love everything there, but my fave purchase was back when they had the Isaac Mizrahi bedding- I scored a duvet cover and shams during a sale- it was my fave until we changed up the colors in the bedroom!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    a few autumns back i got this adorable straw clutch with orange detailing and fun buckle on summer clearance for less then $5! I totally forgot about it, but broke it out this past summer and let the compliments stream in! It was my favorite summer “going out” bag and I can’t wait to rock it next summer too!!

    I have to say that this small mirror that I got from Target has been my absolute favorite thing for many years – a great bargain and it’s lasted (somehow I’m succeeded in not breaking it!).

    And am so excited that one is now open just 3 (count them, 3) blocks from my condo! Too many things to list have come and joined my home from there, including some of my fave Xmas decorations!

    Oh, how can I pick just one favorite Target item? Everything from Target is my favorite! I think right now it would have to be my new aqua blue throw pillows (because they’re the last thing I bought there…so they’re top of mind) — I’d been looking for pillows in the perfect shade of aqua forever, and Target delivered!!!

    I purchased 2 mirrored side tables a couple of years ago to use in our guest bedroom. Not only are they stylish and durable, but they were much more budget-friendly than virtually identical options sold elsewhere.

    It would be hard to pinpoint one favorite purchase, but I have a habit of buying the same top or sweater there in multiple colors if I really like it. It’s hard to pass up chic and affordable Tar-jay fashions!

    I’m a target lady!

    I have gotten so many pieces of great Target clothing (including one dress in particular) that get tons of compliments. Some of the pieces have held up as well or better than higher end brands by far! I’m getting ready to move and will be hitting up Target to accessorize the new place for sure.

    and I have a “route” that I travel inside the store every time I go to target! But, my favorite score would have to be…I can’t just pick one! I’m a sucker for those little red tags that scream I’m on sale, buy me now!
