Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I swear my life would not function without this store. My son is a Target baby (most of his furniture, clothing and toys were purchased here); my casual wardrobe is dominated by Target purchases; and my apartment is decorated with home accessories scored from the bargain bins!

    It’s hard to pick a favorite. :)

    I cannot choose just one item that is my favorite from Target, so I’m choosing three. My Avington slipcover chair, Avington bookshelf and Avington banker’s chair. I love that collection! It’s so affordable, is stylish and looks great!

    My favorite piece that I bought at Target were my red high heeled wedding shoes. They looked amazing, were unexpected and were so comfortable I ran in them.

    Best item I’ve bought at Target was a sock monkey doll for my niece for her birthday. I know it’s a little throw back and a little risky that she would even like it but she LOVED it. She carried it with her through the rest of the party! It was the perfect gift!

    I just purchased the Tassimo T20 yesterday!! I got a great deal.. was 129. on sale for 99. and they knocked off 20% b/c the box was all jacked up. I was SUPER EXCITED!!! Merry Christmas to me!! (early)

    I got two AMAZING lamps for our master bedroom bedside tables. I searched and searched and looked at expensive places. One day I was strolling the isles of Target and there they were.. for SO much less than I was planning to spend! Got to love Target!

    Who doesn’t love Target? My wardrobe is filled with great Target finds. I also love my metal Asian-inspired elephant candle holder I found on clearance. Instead of a candle, I have filled it with rings!

    I LOVE Target and find it hard to narrow down my favorite item….might be my brown storage ottoman. I also love their clearance items. Such a great story. I could go there everyday (but I don’t)

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My ultimate Target score were my two faux glass bauble lamps and drum lampshades that are in our master bedroom….they look SOO expensive and high end, but in reality, which a sale and a gift card, they were practically free! Love Target deals!

    I scored a wooden tray on clearance for $2. With help of sand paper and spray paint I turned it into an end table using salvaged metal legs from an old tv tray!

    One of my favorite purchases from Target that I still have is this crazy desk lamp covered in silk gerber daisy heads. I bought it 10 years ago when I was heading off to college. It reminds me of a crazy old lady shower cap. I love her so much I named her Sally.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! We have a beautiful desk that we got from Target ages ago that is still in great condition that I’m pretty proud of, but I still have so many other awesome finds from Target like great shoes, t-shirts, and jewels!

    I’m a Target Lady!!! There are a ton of stuff I’ve scored at Target, but my favorite would have to be some of the Christmas ornaments and decorations that I have gotten over the years…I worked there for 5 years through high school and college, so I am forever a Target lady :-)

    My favorite thing from Target is my area rug in our living area. It ties all the colors of the room together. Oh and my throw pillows from there too!
