Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I recently just ordered brown boots that look EXACTLY like Frye Harness Boots… for 1/5 the price!!

    I’m a Target lady! I’d NEVER been to Target until about a year ago when I moved to a new city, and now I might be addicited!!

    So far my favorite Target purchase has been a pair of some fun cowboy boots I bought on sale. I wear them all the time and get tons of compliments on them.

    We got the softest sheet from Target and they come out of the wash so much nicer than the sheet we paid twice as much for at BB&B.

    I’m a Target Lady! My favorite target purchase is the wicker toy chest we use in our living room to hide all the kids toys – it’s much prettier than the plastic bins I used to use :)

    I’m a Target lady! That is one place I can drop some SERIOUS dough! My fave Target item is a fall wreath I bought a few years ago on sale for $10! It’s full of fall colored berries! Great for adding some fall texture to my little apartment!

    My best Target score is a pair of black pointy toed flats (that are suprisingly super comfy). They’ve been my go-to nice shoe for more than 5 years! I love them.

    I’m a college student so of course I love Target. I got these great 3D birds that you stick into your wall with tiny push pins. They were the first decoration in my new apartment. :)

    “I’M A TARGET LADY” My favorite favorite Target item is the Banana Fish Lily collection bedding for my daughter’s nursery. It’s just flat out beautiful! Oh and I dig the Up and Up products!

    I’m a Target lady!

    As a working mom I will often use my lunch breaks to run quick Target errands, but my all time best score was made when I was on maternity leave. My son was born in the summer and we would take afternoon “walks” around the local Target (plus I always needed “something” with a new baby). I usually did a loop around the perimeter to check all the end caps where the best deals could be found. That is when I found my beloved crock pot. I had never had an interest in crock pot cooking, but it was only $11.88 so I thought what the heck. That crock pot has totally made a difference in my life. I have used it at least once if not twice a week since my sone was born 2+ years ago. I love being able to fix it and forget it in the morning and then come home to a wonderful home crock-ed meal at the end of the day :)

    I totally dig their shoes. (I know this is a ‘home improvement blog’) But I have TINY feet and they carry a decent number of size five shoes that I don’t hate.

    I’m a target lady! My favorite thing I’ve ever scored at target is this awesome plastic scrapbooking storage “satchel” (I’m quoting their website, but can’t find the exact style.) It opens from both sides. One side stores my acrylic stamps, stamp pads, wood stamps, embossing gun and embossing supplies and the other stores 12×12 scrapbooking paper. It’s awesome.

    My favorite item that I’ve scored at Target is our faux-leather ottoman which we scored for about $55 on sale last year– the same one that I see you have in your home! It holds our quilts in the winter and makes our living room so cozy.

    My favorite item I have recived from target is my white metal (semi-tulipish) coffee table. I got it for 14.99 and painted the top a peacock green. Can’t beat it!

    I am a lover of all things Target! My most favoritest Target find were two huge frames I got back in my single days. They are now home to two of my wedding pictures and I get lots of compliments on them. I’d love to buy more and sure could do some damage with $100!!!

    Wow, there are so many awesome deals I’ve scored at Target, it’s difficult to choose just one!
    But I guess I’d have to say our coffee table (it’s actually a TV stand…) that we scored for 20-something bucks! We’ve had it for 5-6 years and I recently saw the same thing in an AT house tour – also used as a coffee table(!) Great minds…

    I’M A TARGET LADY and my most favorite purchase is a unique plant stand that I picked up several years ago when they were doing their “world market” approach to furniture. It has detailed carved out scroll work and an ornate inset. Matches our decor perfectly and people are amazed when I tell them we picked it up at Target!

    Target is my favorite go-to store for just about everything!

    I can’t narrow it down to one deal i’ve found at target…but I will give an example of a $55.00 lamp on sale for $8.00…it is a tall cube that has a lamp on top and three shelves underneath…to top it off it matches a shelf we already had, that doesn’t have a lamp :)

    I’M A TARGET LADY

    I don’t buy anything full price at Target (which is insane, I know, since their stuff is so affordable anyway) but its the one way I can control myself. Hands down best deal I ever found was this dress that fit me so well I thought they had used me as the mannequin. It was $20!! It came in 4 colors, so I bought all four!

    How can I pick just one?? The one that comes to mind immediately is the faux-leather ottoman in my living room. It replaced two sleek (and sharp) coffee tables when the first of my three children started cruising around furniture. Though it isn’t as dramatic as the R&B tables, it is safe and sturdy and stylish!!
