Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    First, happy birthday, John! Second, I love Target for just about everything. There is one 1.6 miles from my condo…it’s the best and worst thing that’s ever happened to me. And they just put in a real grocery section!

    I AM A TARGET LADY! Seriously, I find it nearly impossible to pick a favorite find I have in my house from Target. I think it will have to be my new clock on the wall…or the “B” on our bookshelf. Maybe the rockin’ new fall dish towel hanging over my kitchen sink? I am a Target addict!

    The clearance rack always has a ton of great workout clothes, but my favorite item has to be my raincoat from a few years back – so classic (and cheap!)

    IM A TARGET LADY!

    Almost everything in my house is from Target (my husband works there :) ) but my favorite item is probably a trunk we got on clearance when they used to do the GLOBAL BIZARRE section each year. It was originally $99 but I got it 75% off! I was so happy!

    I love our chenille target throw blanket that not only looks adorable lounging over the arm of our sofa, but it super soft and warm too! Gotta love Target!

    I’m a Target Lady! (I prefer the Tar-jay pronounciation though)

    My favorite Target score was a set of 12 wine glasses for around $15… great to break into two sets of six and gift with a bottle of wine. :)

    I recently made several online furniture purchases from Target and couldn’t be happier. They look comparable to high end brands, but cost a fraction as much! LOVE ME SOME TARGET.

    favorite buy @ target: i have a great square shapped skillet i bought on clearance (love those little red tags that show you how much you’ve saved) while i was in college. it works great for pancakes, french toast or grilled cheese and i’ve had it for almost 10 years now!

    oh goodness, there are so many amazing things that i’ve gotten at target! they have the best sale clothes items. but one of my favorites were these plastic (but ceramic-looking) bowls and trays that were super cheap and came in all different colors. they are great for decorating and very versatile!

    I’m a Target lady! I loved being able to buy curtains and decorative rods for really cheap at my last apartment – they really perked up the room. (Can’t hang rods at the current place…so sad.)

    Love the John Derian stuff – the picture frames, storage boxes, and so on. I think my favorite is the box I use to hold my son’s growing archive of artwork.

    I <3 Target. Their clearance is to die for. I got a shirt there once for $4….I wore it for about 10 years before it finally had to go to the recycling…but only because it had gotten pen on it!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!!!!!

    My favorite item I bought at Target is probably the Easel Floor Mirror. I first discovered it my last year of college but had no room for it in my tiny studio apt. About 6 mos later, I saw it again but couldn’t justify spending the money for it (my 1-bdrm apt cost a lot more in rent than my studio!) Finally, close to 2 years after I first saw and wanted the mirror, I finally bought it. I love it!

    And yes, Kristen Wiig as the Target Lady on SNL is absolutely HILARIOUS. I love me some K Wiig!

    Right now I’m loving the Champion workout clothes I got from Target. Very functional and at $9 a shirt, a bit more for pants, you can’t beat the prices (way cheaper than Under Armor or Nike stuff)
