Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a Target Lady!! I love Target, I always find great deals there. My husband ordered the Dolce Lounge Chair (the same one that’s in your living room) for my birthday-I can’t wait to receive it!

    I’m a target lady! Holy cow I love just about everything from target, but I guess my favorite things from target are the $5 pillow covers I bought there. They look great and the price can’t be beat!

    I’m A TARGET LADY!

    Just today I scored a Play-Doh Cake Making set for my daughter. Best part was, I saw it at Toys R Us for $16, but it was on sale at Target for $9.49 and then I also found a $2 peel coupon on another Hasbro product. So I got it for HALF the price of Toys R Us! Woo to the HOO!!!! Love that place!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My favorite was a sheet set. They were so lovely that a housekeeper at a hotel stole my pillowcase and refused to admit it. I never saw the sheets in stores again. Sad. =)

    My favorite score at Target is our bedspread. I bought it 4 years ago as a temporary bedspread but I love it so much it’s still on our bed. It’s so soft and the print is beautiful. Everyone asks where I got the bedspread.

    I’m a Target Lady!!

    From our wedding registry we got a food vacuum saver sealer that has saved us boat loads of money. We’re able to buy food in bulk and freeze the extras. It’s also my go-to place for gift buying because it’s affordable and I can always find about a million cute things.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    It’s hard to name one favorite thing from Target, but I’ll say the computer desk I got. It’s solid wood and affordable. I also have a weakness for there little girl clothes. My girls are 4 and 2 yo and constantly growing out of their clothes. I love being able get cute outfits at a reasonable price. So far, they’ve made good hand-me-downs, too.

    It is hard to pick just one.

    I love the wooden box that I got from their decor collections. It sits on my boyfriend’s nightstand and he can put his weird necessities that used to clutter the night stand.

    I also love their two piece slip covers for sofas. The main part fits over the body of the couch and the seat cushions go in a separate cover. It is a much more tailored look than traditional one-piece slip covers. Plus there isn’t a lot of having to retuck everytime some one sits down.

    I’m a Target Lady!

    Picking my favorite thing from there is hard since I’ve gotten so much great stuff over the years, but my current favorite are the fabric bins that I’m using in my cube bookshelf to hold all of my crafting supplies!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My best Target purchase was a large carved reproduction mantel clock with mini clocks for every time zone, designed to replicate the clocks of the old Marshall Fields telegraph office. Very sentimental to me from my days in Chicago, and very happy on my wallet…only $29 in Clearance!

    How do you not love Target?!? A friend and I walked around Target last week for over an hour oogling all the fun stuff, perfect for any occasion (Happy Birthday John!) or just because :) LOVE THAT STORE!

    I’m a Target lady! My favorite Target purchase is a mirrored tray that I bout last year… I’ve tried it out in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom… But now it is serving as magazine/remote control/candle holder on the coffee table in the living room :)

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My favorite Targét purchase ever has to be the brown boots I got there last fall… I don’t remember the exact price, but they could not have been more than $30. They look adorable with skinny jeans, and I get complimented on them ALL. THE. TIME. I love bragging that “I got them at Target!” It doesn’t take the big bucks to look fashionable.

    I’m a Target Lady –

    I was just there yesterday and scored something I’ve had been looking for for a while… A small-fit-in-your-purse umbrella w/ zip cover. Most small umbrellas have a cover that you just slide over the umbrella, but I wanted something that offered more protection from the water on the umbrella for my purse dwelling items. I had one small umbrella + zip cover that broke, and could not locate another one ANYWHERE! Until yesterday. They had five, and I considered buying all of them, but resisted. Here’s hoping the next time around, the search won’t take as long!
