I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. It’s hard to pick just one favorite thing – I stop in nearly weekly! Currently, it’s a toss up between the set of 8 dining room chairs we purchased (on clearance, of course!) to match the dining room table that my husband BUILT himself; and the 2 similar, but not exactly the same, barstools we purchased to sit at our kitchen island bar!

I’M A TARGET LADY!! I recently got a mirror for the front foyer with little hooks and a shelf. The hooks are great for things that you need as you walk out, the shelf I plan to use for stockings (we don’t have a mantle) and it was affordable!

OOOO “I’M A TARGET LADY” Love Target I can always SCORE something there. Last January it was snowy and cold and my 12 yr old had out grown her swimsuit. She was to start her swim unit in PE in 2 days. Target came through they were the only ones to have suits YEA!! It was even cute!

My favorite thing I’ve bought at Target are our lamps and big wall clock. Least favorite were chicken salt and pepper shakers. We bought them because we heard having a chicken in the kitchen is good luck…the week after we bought them more things went wrong than we could count. My husband has since thrown them away!
