I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. My favorite purchase from Target is the rug in my daughter’s bedroom. It’s a white furry rug that goes great in her safari-esque room. I love it so much, I want to buy a replacement because it’s starting to get a little dingy!

I’M A TARGET LADY! The best thing I’ve ever gotten there are their plush dog toys that are ALMOST indestructible (I’ve given it to a rogue dog who’s destroyed it, but still loves it). It comes in Monkey and Elephant and my god-dog (who commits to NO toy) can’t live without either of them! :)

The bases are made to look like glass and the shades were a black and white batik style fabric. I have so many different things in my house from Target. Years ago, I loved PB’s cube storage tables but couldnt afford the PB price. Target had some black distressed ones online that I ended up getting and using for coffee tables for years. I stored CD cases in them, toys, etc. Now one is being used as a sidetable beside an oversized chair and the other is in the attic I think,lol. Still figuring out where to put things in the new house as my style evolves. I can always paint them white too!
