Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME!!! TILE ME!! TILE ME!!!

Oh how I need tile! I am currently re-doing my kitchen (well my dad is), and I need! need! need! a backsplash. There are grease splashes all over the fresh drywall he hung for me..oops. I also need to tile the wall around my shower upstairs which I currently can’t use because the water just eats away the drywall as it splashes onto the wall :(

TILE ME! (tile US!) after years of figuring out how we’d like to reconfigure our odd 1920s kitchen with two many awkward door placements, this is the year of demolition and rebuilding! We’ve already picked out a soft bluey penny tile from the tile shop to use as a backsplash, we’d love some help getting it! :-D

How exciting! My husband and I are renovating our new home that was built in ’78 (and hasn’t been updated since.) Our kitchen is one of the biggest eye sores right now, so I have already had a sample square shipped from the Tile Shop and am just saving my pennies to purchase the whole lot!

TILE ME!!!!! We need to gut our one and only seashell bathroom upstairs (the only other bathroom is in the basement) with the hopes to push out the wall a bit to expand the gnome-size water closet that it is and THEN build another 3/4 bath on the other side which would put us in the master bedroom. We. Need. This!! (crossing our fingers ever so tightly)

Tile Me! Both our kitchen and our bathroom could use an update.. it would be hard to decide which, probably would depend on where the money would go the furthest (and I can tell you I have no idea. These things are out of the realm of possibility for us right now, so this would be a fabulous prize to win!)

Tile ME! We have been DYING to redo our bathroom for almost 3 years now and can’t seem to ever find the budget for it. We decided last year that if we could keep the materials to a minimum and did the job ourselves we could try to swing it this new year. And then we had a baby. so there goes that. Would love to get our bathroom project back on track!
