Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! We are actually working on our main bathroom right now and need tile for the floor and our shower surround. We would love the 2″ hexagonal marble for the floor, it’s so beautiful. And just white subway tile for the shower, similar to your old house…Here’s hoping we win!!!

    TILE ME!

I would tile my entire basement – it needs it because it’s an old home (1952) and some of the tiles are 9×9″ – and if you know what that means, you know I’d like to lay some new tile over them. Some of the basement has concrete on the floors where the old tile used to be and it looks awful. HelP!?

TILE ME!!! All of our bathrooms have laminate flooring..we have 2 1/2 and they could all use tile! With 1500 we could probably tile at least the master and our half bath for guests! It gets more traffic than the guest bath room upstairs, so we would tile that one first!! AMAZING giveaway!

    Tile me!

What an awesome giveaway!! I would LOVE to re-tile the floors in our entryway and kitchen. The previous owners decided that it would look great to put down an ugly floral pattern in one half of the space, and start up with a completely different ugly floral pattern in the other half, to “differentiate” the two spaces (I assume?). It is hideous, and I can’t wait to re-do it! This would be a HUGE financial help :)

TILE ME! One of the fun things with having a house that’s 100+ years old is uneven floors so the kitchen floor tiles are cracked from settling, and a new backsplash would be fabulous. I’ve been lusting after your penny tiles :)

We have a WHOLE HOUSE that could use tile work! We are new homeowners in North Dakota and trying to execute a TON of DIY projects. We want to bring in gray subway tiles in the kitchen, replace the tile in the bathroom, and finish up the newly installed bathroom in the basement. Tile me!! We have done so much work to our house recently to wrench it free from the cold, grasping claws of the 1970s, but our bathroom is still stuck in a time bubble. Some renovations there would go a long way toward making sure the past stays in the past…

We don’t have a kitchen backsplash and yours turned out so beautifully that I am itching to do ours.

We also have a bathroom much in need of updating, but it’s our only full bath so that makes it somewhat tricky (and probably explains why it is in dire need of new tile).

And a our 3-sided fireplace could use some new hearth tiles.

Hmmmm – with such a ginormous prize, I wonder if there is enough $$ to tackle all 3?!? Oh a girl can dream…

TILE ME! This would actually be a perfect gift for my parents. And I was just thinking about their random tile issues yesterday. Could it be fate??? :) They need a new tile job around their fireplace and in their solarium. The house was built in the late 80’s and this tile has been cracked and ugly for at least 10 years. It is time!!!
