Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

Tile Me! My kitchen backsplash needs help, but even after that I think there might be enough to redo one of my bathrooms. Oh, that would be so good!

I would absolutely loveeee a backsplash in our kitchen. The previous homeowners just put up this really ugly wallpaper and every time I splash water while doing dishes, it peels the paper off more and more. Yuck!

TILE ME! There are more places in my home that need tile than I’d have ever thought possible: the laundry room (currently bare concrete), the shower (the bathroom walls are tiled but the shower area is that weird shower wall stuff), the kitchen backsplash. The possibilities seem endless with this give away! All of these items are years away from seeing tile unless something like this comes along.

We have nasty pepto pink tile in our bathroom currently (thank you, 1950’s house), and we would love to replace it! We also have some major work to do in our kitchen (the walls are tiled with ugly tile. And I mean every wall. BUT, the back splash is tile-less. Go figure.

Because our 100-year-old row home was used and abused before we snapped it up as a foreclosure three years ago. We’re making progress on a DIY-basis and a shoe string budget, but the bathroom still needs some tile-fueled love to bring it back to its glory days! And because tiling it one of my favorite DIY things to do!

    TILE ME!

Ooh, please please pick me! :) I was just at the Tile Shop on Friday picking out our kitchen backsplash and new basement bathroom tile! We’re planning to kick off a HUGE basement remodel(well finishing it!) this summer months after two years of saving. I’ve been waiting for this project to start in order to get a kitchen backsplash, since my husband wouldn’t have the tilers in twice. So I NEED new tile and this money would help us be able to kick it off a whole MONTHS sooner!

Tile me! I’m almost finished with a bathroom renovation (tile work has already been done), but I would love to update the kitchen backsplash, demo and replace most everything in the second bathroom upstairs, maybe fix up the basement floor, and add a little eye candy to the fireplace. So many ideas and possibilities!
