Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! I can’t describe how perfect this would be for me. My fiance and I just bought an old and VERY rough around the edges 4 unit apartment building and we’re moving into one of the units. The previous owner did the most terrible tiling job and they put tile EVERYWHERE! We desperately need to retile our bathroom and kitchen!

    TILE ME.

We’ve ripped up half of our downstairs bathroom, putting in a laundry room. We won’t redo the floor tile until we start our kitchen renovation (we want things to have a similar feel since the bathroom is off the kitchen, but probably not match), but that’s probably our next tile project we’ll be taking on. We’re thinking old-school black and white hex tiles, but who know!

TILE ME!!! I would love to have a tile backsplash in the kitchen, or that ceramic tiled, heated bathroom floor we’ve been drooling over. But before any of that would be my Mom’s house. Her bathroom is in dire need of an overhaul!

Tile Me!!! We would use this to jump start a master bath (although it is a really small bath with only a shower and toilet in it) renovation… This would be perfect to do a tile shower in one corner with storage beside it on the same wall corner, a new energy efficient toilet, and vanity (not pedestal sink) and an awesome mirror.

My husband and I were just talking about how we need to redo our bedroom bathroom with some tile…the shower is gross. I won’t even use it. It’s got sliding doors that won’t come clean. And the inside…don’t even get me started. It’s the one thing we hated most when we purchased our house. And this 1500-dollah bonus would go a long way since we just had a baby and can’t really afford house projects right now!

Tile me! I currently have a bathroom with 60’s pink tiles all around. Not only the tiles in the shower, but on the walls and on the floor. Not to mention, my current kitchen does not have any kind of backsplash. This would be a huge help in starting the project.

TILE ME! – My kitchen floor is in need of some new tile. the previous homeowners were trying to save money and used a tile that looks like it belongs on a patio and left an unusually large gap between tile for grout. With this combination is always looks dirty.

Tile Me! Being the expert procrastinator that I am, our kitchen backsplash has been left naked for two years after redoing our 1920s kitchen. Yep, two years of cooking grease and water splashes doing who knows what to the lathe and plaster walls. If we even have any plaster left in the wall behind the sink! I’ve been frozen with indecision regarding tile choice (if only I thought penny tile would work in our little kitchen) and fear of tiling over lathe and plaster. Maybe if I accomplished the backsplash that would spud me on to refinishing the kitchen window trim (that’s right, still unfinished) and then maybe even something crazy like painting the living room (the color sample swatches have been up almost three months now)! Sigh…
