Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME, pretty please! Everything that is tile in our condo needs to go – it’s a southwestern 90’s orange-y pink. It’s in every room, AND around the fireplace. What I wouldn’t tile is an easier question.

TILE ME! My entire downstairs needs tile. We ripped out the 30 year old shag carpet when we moved and painted the concrete slab flooring. Which now means, I need to scarrify the whole shabang before I tile it. And tile is the only answer for this. I cannot think of a give a way that is more suited to my current needs.

TILE ME!!! We have vinyl “tile” in our bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. It’s pretty torn up from when we moved in (thank you boys for deciding to DRAG the washer and dryer instead of carrying them), so replacing the dented and chewed “tile” with real tile would be AMAZING! :)

When we moved into our 1949 house 6 years ago, the sun room was newly tiled. After 2 months, all of the grout started to crack (foundation is cracked and not level). We also realized that the tile was cheapo dot matrix printed tile. We would use this to re-tile the sun room and do it right. AND make it pretty.

TILE ME!!! Our 1950’s cape cod has been totally updated except for the 2 bathrooms. One is covered in pink tile and the other is aqua (on all walls 3/4 of the way up and the floor). We have updated all the fixtures Over the past few years but all of that pastel tile is a big undertaking. It drives me nuts but we just had our 2nd baby 2 weeks ago so we do not have the extra money so this would be awesome. Pick me!!

The previous owners PAINTED the pepto bismal pink tile in the bathroom white. We didn’t realize that it was paint until our second year at the house when it started to peel. Now it the paint is coming off in big curls and it looks like a hot mess. I would love, love, love some tile for this room!

would love to remove the mismatched tile in our master bath. apparently the previous owner thought pink square tiles in the shower and surround went splendidly with faux stone-like tiles on the floor. We’ve done the best we can to tone down the pink but i’m ready for it to be gone!

What wouldn’t we use this on? We have one kitchen and three bathrooms in DIRE need of help. Have you ever seen grey and yellow accent tiles in a kitchen? I have! It is not a good look. At all. Btw, thanks so much for suggesting the Tile Shop. I passed along the suggestion to my mom and she said they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Thanks!

Just this weekend we went hunting for new bathroom tile. Of course we both zeroed in our favorite and it was one of the most expensive they carry! But with $1500 we could probably replaced the “temporary” white ceramic tiles that are being used as a stove backsplah too!
