Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! My white kitchen floors are making me crazy trying to keep them looking somewhat clean! Can’t wait to get rid of them and put in some grey tile (maybe slate?) instead

TILE ME!!! Although there are a plethora of projects at our house, I think our master bathroom would be the starting point. We’d love to get a taller vanity and a low-flow toilet, but that is on-hold because of the tile, which was builder-installed in the 80s and impossible to find anymore.

TILE ME! My kitchen is crying out for a new backsplash! We didn’t replace it when we switched out our tile countertops for quartz over a year ago, and there’s been a sad, inch-high gap between the counter and the backsplash ever since. This would definitely fix up that sad-trombone spot.

TILE ME PRETTY PLEASE…. My husband and I just renovated my Mom’s kitchen. It was part of our plan to 1.) cheer her up after just losing my Dad to Parkinsons and 2.) update her kitchen. Her house is an old mill house that desperatly needed attention. We replaced cabinets, countertops, applicances and painted. I would so love to go back and do a backsplash and tile for her also. I can’t figure out how to attache pictures here but I can certainly show you a before and after.. PLEASE PICK ME LORD RANDOM GENERATOR :-)

    TILE ME!!! pretttty plllllease :)

how ironic… the hubby and i just decided this weekend that we were going to take the plunge and redo our master bathroom shower, so this giveaway would be AMAZINGNESS if we won since we only have a $2k budget! our current shower is the builder grade “fitted shower” and living down in the humid dirty south has made it a breeding ground for mold… disgusting i know, i have to shower in it! we honest to God bleach it top to bottom every other week and yet that mold just keeps coming back. it’s kinda scary to think about our elderly neighbors who don’t have the stamina to keep up with it (and aren’t as flexible as us youngins to get all the grime at the very bottom) eeeek! anyway, i’m going to cross my fingers and wear my pj’s inside out in hopes that random.org picks us!!!
