***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!
- PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! I would put new tile where the current backsplash is that came with our house.

TILE ME!! I live in South Florida and we are living with the ugliest “Miami Vice” aqua and yellow 4″ tiles, complete with a monster of an ancient aqua jacuzzi bath that is so big our hot water heater can’t fill it. We are getting rid of the tub and replacing it with NEW TILE and separate sinks (necessary for a happy marriage).
p.s. I can’t believe how big Clara is getting.

Our main floor bathroom! It needs new floor AND wall tile.

Our kitchen would look so much nicer with a backsplash, but I would love to tile the bathtub surrounds in our two bathrooms, and the backsplash in the bathrooms. The list goes on and on….

TILE ME!!! Our tub surround is in need of a new tile job! We live in a pretty new condo, 5 years old, the grout is cracking and one of the tiles has chipped. I am pretty sure there is mold in the wall because of the crappy grout job. ERR….!!!
EB says
TILE ME!
Our master bath desperately needs an upgrade – right now I stare at a PINK surround in a useless whirlpool type tub! really would like to upgrade to an oversized standing shower unit, maybe dual shower heads if we’re feeling crazy!
Love your site!
:)

Tile Me! My backsplash is still tile-less after knocking down 2 walls to open up the KT to the rest of the downstairs 2 years ago!
Megan says
TILE ME!! I’ve been saving for ages for flooring for the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has DARK BLUE INDUSTRIAL CARPET in it! Ack! And the bathroom has 60 year old vinyl that I’m pretty sure is not good for us. This would be amazing to win this! Thank you YHL and Tile Shop!
Kelli says
TILE ME! The kitchen, foyer, AND the bathroom are waiting!

Hilary says
TILE ME! Our bathroom could use a new surround and we have been putting off our kitchen backsplash from a three-years ago renovation!
Angela S says
TILE ME!! Our kitchen needs some help! Backsplash and/or countertops!
Emily says
TILE ME!
Our (future) master bath is currently just an empty box (it’s gutted to the studs). It will be the last room we put back together in our whole house renovation, so getting this boost on tile would be a serious dream come true!
Kaylee S says

We would love to do a tile reno for our kitchen backsplash (and our bathroom flooring). We just finished painting our kitchen cabinets and now we would like some new tile to complete the look :)

TILE ME!!
We really need a backsplash. And our pre-fab guest bathroom shower/tub combo could also stand to be replaced with some lovely tile as well.
Sarah says
TILE ME!
Man, what *couldn’t* use some new tile in my house? One thing I’d love to do is get rid of the tub in my tiny bathroom and replace it with a tile shower to make better use of the space. As it is, no matter what you do in the bathroom, you are always touching at least two pieces of “furniture” (tub and sink, toilet and tub, etc.), so having only a shower would be such an improvement!
brittany says
TILE ME! We just moved into my grandma’s home and there are plenty of areas that are concrete now just waiting for some tile.
Lili says
Tile Me!
We will be closing on a new house soon, and I would LOVE to do over the ugly kitchen linoleum with lovely TILE!!!

My kitchen could really use a backsplash…we put up some beadboard as a semi-temporary measure, but would love to replace it with tile!
jen says
Tile me!!!! My kitchen is close to 60 years old and has knotty pine cabinets and walls I truly need some awesome tripe backsplash to go along with the cabinets I’m painting out.
Kat Jeter says
TILE ME I DIYed my kitchen and I’m still looking for that perfect backsplash tile.
Amber says
TILE ME!!!!!!!! (please)
We just started our DIY kitchen remodel. The countertops are picked out, the cabinet paint color is picked out, the lighting is picked out…
… but we still need to get our tile!!
I’d love a simple, classic white subway tile backsplash.
Oh please, oh please… How I’d love to win this one! :)
Robyn Brownley says
TILE ME!!!! My husband and I just bought a 1940’s farm house. We are the definition of DYI. If we can do it to save a dollar, we will! This farm house had the orginial formica counter tops. Gross! We striped (with a paint scraper and elbow grese) the orginial formica counter top off so we could reuse the hardwood plywood underneath. We have not tiled yet because we need to finish painting the cabinets. So you can imagene how difficult it is having to work with a bare plywood counter top. If we won this give away we would use the tile to tile the counter tops, the new breakfast bar we installed and a backsplash. We would also use the tile to tile the master bathroom in the attic that we converted into a master suite. We take pictures of everything we do so we would be happy to share the pictures of the installation process and the finish work with you!!!!
Bekah says
TILE ME! Our front entry has original 1966 tile in a gross dark beige – with BLACK grout. To make it even worse, the grout lines are about half an inch. So very retro, and not in a good way.
Megan says
Tile Me!
I would do our kitchen backspash (currently we don’t have one) or our fireplace. Or both!
Jim says
TILE ME!! We have multiple projects awaiting new tile including a kitchen back splash, bathroom floor, and bathroom walls. Throw in another bathroom for good measure and we should be covered.
barry says
TILE ME! my master bathroom needs TONs of tile
Carrie says
TILE ME!
Our mudroom / laundry room / guest bath area is still ugly white linoleum and is dying to be changed to some nice, dirt-hiding tile!!! This would be AWESOME!
Rachel Hyne says
TILE ME! Our kitchen could use some backsplash tile. It is currently a sea of neutrals in there–dark brown cabinets, tan walls, beige floors. We need color and interest in our lives…er kitchen. Backsplash tile would do the trick. :)
