Fab Freebie: Tile Shop ‘Til Your Drop

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!

Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:

TileShop Giveaway 1500

That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!

TileShop Giveaway Board

  • PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

I don’t know where to start – so how about a backsplash, as we currently have none?

Tile me! We have only one full bath, and the tile in it is not only about 30 years old (so it’s bad old, not good and antique old), but it’s all cracked. In other words, it’s in desperate need for a make-over!

Tile me!! Our kitchen backsplash is still nude, nude, nude despite the fact that we’ve updated everything else in the kitchen. I just can’t convince myself to pull the trigger and order the glass tile I love so much–and my husband is going nuts wanting the project done, already! This would be the perfect kick in the pants to get the kitchen done and have ONE room in this 1968 ranch actually completed–every other room is at least under partial renovation, and we’re ready to have some closure! Thanks for the chance to win!

My full bath has its original 1920’s subway tile on the walls and I would like to remove the ugly, unmatching laminate from the floor and put in some white hexagon tile to bring it back to its ‘original’ state.

We could use tile in the bathroom. The floor tile in the bathroom is a beautiful shade of pepto-bismol pink, well at least it was in its heyday of 1972. Now it is just a sad excuse for pepto-bismol. It’s like expired pepto-bismol.. and it won’t alleviate the rumbling in your tummy. It may give you a good case of the sadz though.

Our bathroom is in major need of some beautiful tile. The tub is surrounded by the standard white square tile and the shower, well, the shower is a plastic insert. There are so many gorgeous tile options to pick from these days – we would love the opportunity to do so!
