Today’s moving day (wahoooooo!) so we thought we’d slap up this week’s giveaway this morning to tide you over until we have a moment to post some house-related updates. Oh yeah, and it just happens to be the biggest giveaway we’ve ever done. By a long shot.
So I’ll get to the point. It was almost exactly one year ago that I first used a wet saw. It was love at first site, er, cut. And today we’re sharing the love, thanks to some help from The Tile Shop. And boy is it a lot of love to share. $3000 worth of love to be exact.

In fact, a lot of stuff for our bathroom remodel last year was purchased there (or borrowed from my dad, who had purchased it there). We’re in the process of buying our first house and although it’s new, it’s pretty much to the builder’s specs so we’re excited to get in there and add life to the neutral color palate – maybe with a nice earth-toned, yet colorful kitchen backsplash!

Historically I’ve been a fan of natural stone – and I’m still in love with my brushed and chiseled picasso travertine, but when coming up with ideas for our much in need of a make over guest bathroom, I am find myself drawn to wonderful dark graphite porcelains. Fingers crossed!
