Today’s moving day (wahoooooo!) so we thought we’d slap up this week’s giveaway this morning to tide you over until we have a moment to post some house-related updates. Oh yeah, and it just happens to be the biggest giveaway we’ve ever done. By a long shot.
So I’ll get to the point. It was almost exactly one year ago that I first used a wet saw. It was love at first site, er, cut. And today we’re sharing the love, thanks to some help from The Tile Shop. And boy is it a lot of love to share. $3000 worth of love to be exact.
You guys probably already know The Tile Shop as an awesome spot for tile, tiling supplies, and even free DIY support (both online and in stores). In fact, a lot of stuff for our bathroom remodel last year was purchased there (or borrowed from my dad, who had purchased it there). I am actually planning on doing some upcoming tile work around my house. We are replaceing all the old dingy (use to be) white ceramic tile in our hall bath. I haven’t decided what look I’m going for but know the tile shop has a wonderful selection and showroom here in Charlotte. I love glass or ceramic penny tile and subway tile — both trendy right now, but also so classic…and a good fit with the style of our brick Victorian house.

Tile me! I love glass subway tile! I also can’t wait to replace the tile in my bathroom that the previous owner’s decided to stick those jello like art decor on, which then stained the tile behind it. So we have remnants of stencil like tulips on our tile!

What a great giveaway. I really want to redo my fireplace surround. I am so bored with the boring beige tiles the builder picked out. I am not sure what I would replace it with, but I know the Tile Shop has TONS of options.

I love warm brown travertine tiles on the floor or inside showers (no grout line really, just butted up against each other!) and tumbled cobblestone for the backsplash or outdoor spaces. <3

I too love a wet saw… we have a vaulted ceiling screened porch with a concrete slabbed floor; I would love to lay tile that looks like brick in a herringbone pattern on said floor.
