Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

Interior decorating. Trained as an architectural drafter now, so not too much of a stretch. Unfortunately, I’m not using the “architectural” part of my degree at the momment.

    SCHOOL ME!!!
I have a master’s in Applied Linguistics and work as a language teacher, but I have been seriously considering another master’s in Speech Pathology. I’m interested in the more sciency side of language use. (Does using the word ‘sciency’ make me seem like less of a linguist?) Also, I think it would be very rewarding to help those with brain injuries regain their ability to communicate.

I think I’d go back to study Interior Design. It’s what I really enjoy and daydream about. I have a degree in Graphic Design, so I know the two could mesh well. I’ve also thought it would be fun to learn floral design. Maybe just a short class for that though, as a hobby!

School me! If I could go back to school, I would add some special education classes to my elementary education degree. I always find myself drawn to the kids whose normal is not considered normal. I think they have a really unique gift to bring to others and I’d love to have the tools to help them do that.

    SCHOOL ME!

I actually thoroughly enjoyed my degree in Government (I would’ve preferred Poli Sci, but I went to a liberal arts school, so it was a BA in Gov instead of a BS in Poli Sci…same basic idea, but more theory than practice).

I may also have liked to study some architecture, which was always my childhood dream until it got too computerized for my enjoyment, but some of the computer drafting knowledge would help me explain all the DIY ideas I concoct in my head that I want my husband to build for me!
