Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

Well, I have a Ph.D. in-process right now, so I’m not eager to sign up for more school. However, if I could learn anything else, it might be carpentry or Thai cooking.

SCHOOL ME!Even though I have a degree & my husband has a couple, I would like to take some classes that would be of great use in our everyday lives. For example, I would love to know more about how to fix our cars, plumbing, carpentry, etc.. These are areas that we lack any knowledge. The internet is a great resource but I’d like some hands on learning.

If I won the lottery, I’d be a lifelong student. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism, but I’d happily get another half dozen degrees: a master’s in literature, political science, history, women’s studies, sociology…basically anything not involving science!

    SCHOOL ME! Please!

I AM going back to school. A couple years ago, my hubby lost his job and once the dust was settled, we decided one of us should finish school. Now I’m halfway finished with a BA in Health Care Admin with Psychology. My sister and I want to work together in therapy services that focuses on art. She’s already got the art therapy degree, now I’m working on the rest. :D

I know it doesn’t sound exciting, but probably librarian science. I love books and reading and learning so that seems like a good idea. Although I’ve loved being a computer programmer (got my degree way back in 1978), it has not been as rewarding as doing something I really love would be. Maybe when I retire!
