Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

I already have a degree, but I’d like to go to a trade school and learn carpentry or automotive repair. Or maybe cosmetology school. I could use help learning to style my hair and makeup.

School me! I’d get my MSW – along with my Spanish I’d be better equipped to help in ways I wanted to in previous jobs, and possibly be a counselor, although it scares me a little bit to take on so much responsibility with someone’s life (but then again, it didn’t scare me enough to not have kids!)

I’d stick with the same career path. I’m a hair stylist with four daughters. I’d said my tuition is going to be far less than the money I’ll save on doing their hair!

I’m in school now finishing my MBA in marketing (taking me forever cause I’ve had 2 kids and moved twice!) but I’m almost done – 4 classes left. In any event, if it was “dream” schooling, I’d probably study interior design or cooking!

School me! Your question has actually hit the nail on the head. I would love to go back for my PhD right now but life and money are the biggest issues. That and only a few schools offer the interdisciplinary program I want and none are local. So I’m hoping in ten years or so the PhD thing can become a reality.

I think I missed my calling. I have a degree in fine arts, with an emphasis in graphic design, but what I REALLY should have become is a carpenter. Right now I’m a stay-at-home mom that dreams of projects I could be making if only I knew how!

SCHOOL ME! Wow, so many things I would like to be when I grow up (Even at 28, I am still eager to answer that question) In a perfect world where I had the funds and the available school nearby, I would love to get a masters degree in art restoration or furniture design. I know there isn’t a huge calling for those careers, like many fields today, but I still think it would be fun.
