Fab Freebie: Tool’s In Session

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

And the random winner of lots of goodies from Liquid-Plumr is… Maria (who is actually applying for her PhD in global health diplomacy right now – a self declared “nerdfest”). Congrats!

Raise your hand if you’d like a $150 gift card to Home Depot and a 145-piece tool set? Okay, hands down. We can’t see you anyways. But one of you is going to score those supplies along with two of Liquid-Plumr’s latest clog-busting products. It’s all part of their Tool School, which puts Toolbelt Diva Norma Vally behind the teacher’s desk and includes how-to videos like the one below. Enroll now and you might just know what to do with all 145 tools that are up for grabs…

  • PRIZE: A $150 gift card to Home Depot, a 145-piece tool set, and Liquid-Plumr Double Impact and Disposal & Drain Foaming Cleaner
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … if you could go to school to earn any degree you wanted right now, what would you study? Would you try something new and exciting? Or follow the same career path that you may have already taken?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 18th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States or Canada (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Video courtesy of Liquid-Plumr.

I’m actuall studying to earn my Bachelor’s in Advertising design and marketing right now, but if I had to pick another path I would go to culinary school. So different, I know! I tend to bake when I am happy, upset, bored, or just for fun and the idea of owning a bakery one day is very appealing!

Given that I’m already *in* school for a PhD, the idea of going back to school isn’t very appealing. If the whole academic thing doesn’t work out, I’d love to get into something more hands-on and creative.

If I went back to school now, I’d want to do something more creative like interior design or maybe English Literature – I was a Biology major and chemistry minor in college. Interesting and definitely necessary for what I do now…but I think I lost my creativity somewhere along the way. I’m trying to find it again, one DIY project at a time :)

Honestly, I’ve already got a couple degrees that I’m not currently using….I couldn’t think of anything I would want to pay an astronomical amount of money to learn at a university

The things I want to learn that about could be done online – i.e.: more about my DSLR, lenses, and photoshop…

    and other things:

…how to raise teenagers that are respectful and hard-working…

    …how to snowboard…

…how to go faster on my dirt bike…

all which can be learned from the school of LIFE!!!

School me! My learning curve is ever evolving; today’s discovery was that a hair-dryer can solve an imminent plumbing crisis if applied correctly (frozen pipes are a hazard of living on the Canadian prairies)… I’m currently in the army, but if I get my chance, I’d like to pursue higher learning through the National Outdoor Leadership School. It wouldn’t supply me with a degree per say, but it would certainly help me to build more character!
