Raise your hand if you know what a bathymetric chart is. I didn’t before this giveaway, but it’s basically like a topographic map for what lies underwater. But the more important thing to know is that the married duo behind Below the Boat turns these charts into gorgeous, laser-cut, hand-assembled works of art. They’re beautifully intricate and fascinatingly detailed. And they’ve got lots of bodies of water from the east coast, west coast, and even some lakes in between.     Boat me! I would pick a luxury cruise over anything since I am scared of boats where you can really feel the waves (I.e. motion sickness)!

    BOAT ME! I’m actually afraid of boating, despite being born by a large river. But I love swimming! And my husband would love a fishing boat!

    Boat me! I would choose a 16 foot catamaran. I used to sail those in high school about 10 years ack with my Sea Scout troop and haven’t done it since. So fun!

    Boat me! Old school sailboat (large enough to rest alone whenever you want. Tiny boat get crowded with 2 people! Yes, i need my space…)

    I would live on a flat bottom boat that navigate rivers. We call them “peniche” in France. (I found “barge” as translation, is that right?
    Many are repurposed as home and they are awesome! So BOAT(house) ME !!

    A cruise would be nice – to someplace warm. We are in the midst of a cold, gray, snowy midwest winter so the thought of sunshine and flip-flops is totally warming my heart right now :)

    I’m more a canoe/Kayak kinda girl!

    I’ve seen this artist (or one like this artist) at art shows before. It’s amazing work, some of the large displays were mesmerizing!

    Boat Me!! I would LOVE to go on a Luxury cruise..I get sea sick very easily and I have been on the big fishing boats, so I would rather be sick in style :)

    BOAT ME!

    My home town is right on the Atlantic and I have been in all types of boats; speed, kayaks, pontoons, but unfortunately, have never been sail boating. I think I would love it!
