It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). west me please! everything is different… new apartment, new job, new boyfriend, new family dynamics, new neighborhood, and new friends. definitely a lot of changes, but the one constant is that i love doing things to my home… new furniture, sew new pillows, curtains, or even a simple furniture rearrange… when im calm at home the rest of the worlds changes come easier :)

4 Years ago I worked as a hair stylist and had a one son. Since then my husband and I bought our first house had three more children ( daughter and a set of boy/girl twins) and now I’m a stay at home mom. UMM yeah alot has changed in my life since 2007!

My life is totally different than it was in 2007. I was living in a college dorm room with my gal pals, and now I live in MY own house 200 miles away! I also have a husband, a college degree and a job now! What a difference 4 years made in my life!

And life has been so full for my husband and I over the past 4 years- we were settling in well into our jobs in 2007 and then by 2009 we were on our way to Ecuador as Peace Corps Volunteers. WEST ME!!! In 2007, I was finally gearing up and taking my first ‘grown-up vacation’ with one of my best friends. We’d both been in the working grind for a little over a year after graduating from college and booked a Caribbean cruise. We had so much fun we’ve made it an annual event – trying out different cruise destinations, recruited more friends for a week in Europe, etc.
