It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). Now we are knocking on 30’s door with 2 kids (boy and girl), survived a husband going through law school, and moved to new town in Podunk Texas(thus sold first house and bought a new, very old house).

In ’07, I wasn’t yet married (got married in November of ’07) and we were in an apartment about 3/4 mile north of where we bought our current house. I had a 2 year old (awww, she was such a cute 2 year-old, too… didn’t quite learn to talk back just yet). I hadn’t had my wittow bebe (who’s not-so-little – she’s 18 mos!) yet.. And the biggest thing that I’d DIY’d was a big pin-the-nose-on-the-pumpkin… 9 pieces of construction paper and a round nose laminated… Oh man, how lame.

Let’s see… in 2007, my husband and I had our first child (our first son) in March of that year. Then, in September 2007, we got pregnant with our second child (another boy). Since then, we’ve both gone back to school (I graduated with my B.S. this year, my husband is working on his master’s). And, before I graduated, we also had another child (a girl!!).
Yup… in four years, we’ve had three kids and one of us has graduated.
