In Sept of 2007 my DS had just started community college and DS was a freshmen in high school. I had 2 freshmen at home! Now it is 2011 and DD is away at college (only 60 miles) and DS is still at community college! CA budget cuts are killing college for kids. He was ready to transfer but couldn’t get a class he needed, and now Cal States’ no long accept mid year transfers! Sorry I rant, off soap box now!

Since 2007, I painted an accent wall in my living room a vibrant turquoise (inspired by your occasional bold accent colors in rooms like your guest room) and would love the fabulous lorimer chaise + right arm sofa from West Elm to compliment it!!! I’m sure many other things have changed (graduated college, got a big-kid job, became a Certified Public Accountant etc) but the turquoise wall has of course been one of the best parts.
