It’s no secret that we love West Elm (we own two daybeds and a desk among other things from their store). So let’s just say that we’ll be mighty jealous of the person who wins this week’s FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card there (four year blogiversaries are for big prizes, after all). Not only is West Elm helping us celebrate four years of blogging, they’re also celebrating the launch of their new blog Front & Main (named for the Brooklyn street corner where their original brick-and-mortar store sits). 4 years ago I lived in Maine (now we live in Mass) I was a writer at a newspaper (now I’m an online section producer) and was living with my hubby as a DINK (dual income no kids) now we’ve got a 1 year old baby and beagle foxhound and that dual income goes to a lot of diapers!! :)

Well, we got married Aug. of 2007, we owned a condo for a few years and did some renos (kithchen and bathrooms) and then sold it, rented for a year until we found the home we are living in now.
Updating our quirky home has been a challenge, but we are up for it.
We have no babies or doggies, but we have one Love Birdy and one Parrot who follow us everywhere.
