I love this question! In 2007, I had just moved to MI to begin my PhD program, I was learning lots of new things and making new friends, and I was -unbeknown to me- about to get engaged. Four years later, I’m happily married, living in PA, no longer in the PhD program, and just bought my first house! Thanks for all of the inspiration; your blog is really helping me visualize what I want to accomplish in our new space.

2007 I was fresh out of college, and on my way to the USA (MI) to live with my back then boyfriend, now husband.

WEST ME! In 2007 I got pregnant with our second son. Lets just say life hasn’t slowed down since! lol 2007 was also the last year we had with my Grandmother. She died in early 2008. Much of ’07 is still kind of a blur of taking care of her and being so sad that we knew she would be gone soon, yet not ready to let her go. Not our best year.

Oh forgot how my life has changed, I was trying not to get to overwhelmed by our unsuccess full attempts at getting pregnant. And now our little man will be 3 in december :)
